Low Carb Beef Burrito Recipe

Healthy Low Carb Beef Burrito Recipe


  • 1-1/2 lbs of ground beef ( 80/20 or better )
  • 1 Green Pepper ( chopped )
  • 1 Red Onion ( minced )
  • 1 can of Petite Diced Tomatoes ( 14.5 oz )
  • 2 Tbsp of Black Mustard Seeds
  • 2 Tbsp of Whole Cumin Seeds
  • 8 oz of Shredded Cheese ( Mexican Blend )
  • 1 pkg of 8" Ole Spinach & Herb Tortilla Wraps
  • 1 container of Plain Greek Yogurt ( 5 oz )


  1. Put Hamburger in large skillet. Add Mustard Seeds & Cumin Seeds. Brown the Hamburger.
  2. Mix in chopped peppers, onions, and 1/2 of the tomatoes. Add 1/2 cup of water.
  3. Cook until meat mixture thickens. Add extra spices if desired. Remove from heat.
  4. Place Tortilla on flat surface. Sprinkle on shredded cheese. Spoon meat mixture on top of cheese.
  5. Sprinkle more cheese on top and spoon on some of the remaining tomatoes. Top with a spoon of Greek Yogurt. ( optional )
  6. Roll up tortilla with a traditional burrito fold. Serve hot.
